topic HP Printer sleep problem in Archive

I have an HP printer connected to a BT Business Hub 3 by ethernet. There is a PC, also connected by ethernet on the network that works perfectly. I also have an iMac and iBook connected wireless to the router. The Macs continually drop the printer and cannot re-establish a connection unless I turn the printer off and on again.

Has the firmware in the router been altered recently (without my knowing) as this is a new problem over the last week? Any help to rectify it would be appreciated.
