    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'd suggest putting the 2wire in bridge mode and using the ASA to do PPP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then you can make proper use of your firewall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 2700HGV is an extremely poor device to have in front of your asa!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even consider using an 877 and unnumbering the layer 2 vlan against the dialer interface, and using that as the default gateway for the asa, if your version of ios doesnt support ppp.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have connected an ASA5505 VPN&amp;nbsp;gateway to my BT2700HGV router but cannot find the device listed on connected devices on BT27000HGV hub setup. I need to highlight the device so that I can map a static ip to it on NAT/Address allocation. Can anybody help&lt;/P&gt;</description>
