topic products wont display in Archive

products wont display

I am setting up shop with eshop done all the pages set up categories for the products, entered in the products and assigned them to the categories and set as visible. The problem is I can only view one product which I entered weeks ago, I suspect somewhere I have changed a setting which is preventing from showing products, but if you do a search on the site in the category for the products they appear ? So they are there just not when you select the category they are assigned too.

i am having same problem would be grateful for an answer as i am not getting far with bt web they seem to think im thick. have spent 2 weeks trying to work it out and p.c. is just about to go out the window!!!!!!!!!!
