Can't resize images

BT was doung some maintenance work yesterday and since then I am now unable to resize any images I upload when using the editor, e.g. for the homepage design! Before when I clicked on an image 4 squares appeared in the corners and I could drag it to the exact size needed, now I just get a cursor at the side of the image like it's a piece of text and can't do anything to resize it, only hit the back button to delete it... anyone else noticed this problem??

This problem occur depending on the image you are about to resize. It seems like other images, especially larger ones cannot be resized.
