      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to set a discount on my website so that every order placed gets 10% off for a certain period.&amp;nbsp; Anybody know how to do this?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is coupons they way to do this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Coupons is one way but this would require a customer to insert a coupon code to the shopping basket. Not sure how you would notify your customers of the coupon code. Maybe you could add it as a note to the shopping basket? Not a very good solution though.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Another way is to just edit your prices. If you've got lots of products then you could export to a spreadsheet and change all prices very quickly there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or take a look at price lists. I've never used them but this is what it says in the online help documentation - "Price lists form the basis for customer-specific pricing and discounts.".&lt;/P&gt;</description>
