How do I create 301 redirects?

Due to removing old products to which there were links on the net, I now have a lot of broken links and want to redirect these URLs to my homepage / other pages on the site. How can I create these 301 redirects? I can't see an option in the CMS.

If you only have a few links to fix, you can simply do it manually.
