Setting up downloadable PDF on BT Web Hosting basic

Hello,

Can anyone help me, with this?

I'm trying to set up a page on our company website where readers can click to download a PDF.

I'm a total pleb when it comes to tech stuff, so if you anyone can explain how to do this in simple terms, that would be appreciated!

Hi @GBrady

So i just tested this with my test account and you can upload the file to a folder in the webhosting (via file manager in our online platform or ftp) then pop this in a folder and link to that file.

For example on the

Website: gbrady.com

File: test.pdf

If you put this in the public folder the location would be

gbrady.com/test.pdf then anyone could download by clicking on the download link on the top right hand corner of the pdf viewer.

if you put this in a subfolder under public (in this example we will call the folder Folder1) then the link would be

gbrady.com/Folder1/test.pdf

You can then create a hyperlink in our website builder to the file location
