I've just spent over an hour trying to find out why I am suddenly being charged for landline calls to my business account. Told that I only had an allowance of 100 minutes despite the fact that I was on a 5 year contract that included all landline calls. The advisor told me that these charges relate to a contract that started on 6 Jan 2017. On checking my bills it seems that this started last May without me being informed.

I have also been charged recently for entry into the local directory (for which we have no need as we deal internationally) without my consent. On querying this yesterday I was told that this started in December. Checked my bills and it started being billed in October.

The customer service team clearly does not have a clue how to deal with these problems. I used to believe that BT was the best company for my telephone services but now I would never recommend them.
