Hi,

I have just run a scan through my card service provider on my BT Business router and the following error message/vulnerability has been raised which has meant that my scan has failed:

TCP/IP SYN+FIN Packet Filtering Weakness

The remote host does not discard TCP SYN packets that have the FIN flag set.

Depending on the kind of firewall you are using, an attacker may use this flaw to bypass its rules.

It then suggests I contact BT for a patch.

Can anyone help with this please?

Cheers.
