ADSL2 Target SNR

I understand that to maintain a stable connection the Target SNR may be increased on a ADSL2 connection, if there was a periodic noise problem. But once this has happened when would you expect to see the Target SNR reduced once the line had been stable for an extended period of time?

Are any statistic kept, on your system, about a line which could indicate the reason for this increase and/or predict when the reduction might happen?

Hey Jsmithalpine

If changes have been made to reduce the SNR of your line, the stabisation period for this is generally 10 days.

having said that if the noise causing the interferance and reduction in signal is still present, then no improvment will occur.
