Amazon's Kindle will not connect to Wi-Fi keeps returning to page to insert password I have double and triple checked the correct password is entered. I have also connected successfully to a public Wi-Fi. All other connections i.e iphones, itouches, Wii, Xbox's Laptops all connected without problem. Amazon customer service are funny enough blaming business router any help would be great.

I'm having the same problem with my Kindle. Cannot connect at all, have tried all variations of password, upper & lower case, security key number etc. Keeps telling me that my password is incorrect or not valid. Any suggestions? Have not bothered trying Amazon help line, thought that they would tell me to try business ISP, but cannot get through to them as its Christmas....

Hi

Amazon will suggest you connect it using a public Wi Fi to confirm it is working before offering any futher help then they will say router is not compatible, however there must be a fix it's only Wi-Fi after all !! Good luck keep me posted on your success.

Have just connected using the "Openzone" part of my router most bizarre that it will not connect ordinarily. books take about two to three seconds to download so it's an option however not the most preferred.

Hope this helps

Just for testing purposes, try disabling the security on the BT router and see if this is a security issue if you'll be able to connect.

Then step it up a notch by setting "WEP" encryption first.
