Speedtouch Routers Rebooting for no reason

Is anybody else experiencing this problem or better yet does anybody at BT know what is going on. I have two sites at completely opposite ends of the country exhibiting the problem where their Speedtouch routers are arbitrarily rebooting - anything from 5 minutes to several hours apart.

This problem appears to have started in the last 48 hours, but is causing problems for both sites.

The companies are in no way linked to each other - they don't know anything about each other

They are both on BT Business Broadband

They both have static IP addresses

Other than that - there is no correlation between them.

These routers have been stable for three and five years respectively.

I run two speedtouch routers at another site with the same firmware release that is not experiencing this problem - the difference is that Internet service is not being provided by BT.

Anybody care to hazard a guess as to what's going on?
