Hi,

I'm having problems with my ZTE MF636 USB modem it functioned correctly under win XP SP3 (same laptop) but under windows 7: connection manager runs fine, you select connect 'BT mobile', starts perform the handshake but part way through the modem drops out with error 619.

I've done some digging and many telcos are on FW v1.2 but mine is on v1.0.

Is the a more recent BT FW build for this device?

Update:

The tool I used to I used recover the FW information seems to have stuffed my BT FW as I'm now getting a nice yellow LED and its IDing (in the FW tool) as a different FW ident. I'm geussing I triggered a FW update I didn't want.

Can you send me or direct me to the current FW image for a 'BT Business Mobile Broadband ZTE MF636' dongle.

Thanks,

Chris

Ignoring the FW version problem, the standard solution for a 619 error is for support to dispatch a replacement dongle. Which they have and all sorted now..

Chris
