Yes, My Dad has done it. We have been with BT (option 3) for about 4 years, Residential for years on a 1 MB connection.

Never really had a problem on residential, They were great!

We changed to Business last year, because I was going to run web servers and couldn't do that on residential (IP addresses). However, I do Not run any type of server, and too be honest, BT increased are speed by about 1 MB even though on residential we were on up to 20 mb, and before that up to 8 mb. Don't know why I suddenly got increased speed.

BUT, As soon as we changed we got problems. Some advice. if you happen to move houses/premises get ready for a roller coaster journey.

Unless you have a legitimate reason to change, I strongly advise staying on residential same speeds basically.

Cheers.

JacobB
