Hello there,

i dunno if this is the correct section but ive goit 5 static IP's and i want to set one to my Ubuntu Server box, i do not use the DHCP Server in the bt bussiness hub. so i cannot assign it with that. So i tried to do it with static IP inside ubuntu but it doesnt work. didnt know if there was a certain configuration i had to do in ubuntu to get this to work??

Thanks Stephen

Hi snazzy2000,

If you have a range of 5 static IP's, these nees to be configured manually within the router first. Once the router has been con figured you can then manually assign one of the range to your server.

If you have a look at this guide this explains how to configure the BT business hub for use with static IP's.

regards

markp
