Hi,

Thought I'd check if I could get infinity. Sadly not. However, the "broadband checker results" tells me:

Between 10.0Mb and 19.5Mb
(Estimated speed: 17.0Mb)

My homehub v1 says:

Downstream 8,096 Kbps

My package says:

Option 2 gives you:

Up to 20Mb download speeds.

Now, am I stuck at 8Mb because I have an old contract or maybe it's because the homehub is old?

I'll happily buy a new homehub if it'll double the broadband speed

Cheers

If your line has been automatically migrated to the new (up to 20Mbps) service, then it is likely that you will be restricted to your current service until you renew your contract with us. Your mention of the Home Hub suggests that you are a Residential customer Here are the contact details you will need: Contact BT.

Ok,

Thanks for the answer.

I was a bit confused by the text

Option 2 gives you:

Up to 20Mb download speeds.

Which was copied from the "my account" page for my account. Renewal is not for a while, so I'll wait
