I currently have a 2700hgv business hub with 13 static ip's. I wish to set one of these static ip's to point to a machine on our internal network, unfortunately this machine cannot be set to dhcp, and it does not show up in the wired connections screen on the 2700hgv.

Can anybody tell me how to setup the 2700hgv to point a static external ip address to a static internal ip address

Thanks in advance

Ian

You would need to ensure that the device is using an IP address within the range which the Hub is set up for. As a default, the hub's range is 192.168.1.xxx

It is possible to set up the Hub to use a different internal IP range.

So, you can't ping 192.168.1.71 from the Hub? How, exactly, is this device connected to the Hub? Also, are there any internal IP address conflicts?
