I am sorry that you have had some difficulty with this, steverogers5, we are aware of shortcomings in how content screening behaves in the Business hub. It is an issue with the firmware which we have progressively tried to correct with updates. This seems to have been quite successful but performance seems to vary. If the issue persists, please try clearing the device list in the Hub and allowing it to "re-discover" your connected devices. You can then re-configure content screening as appropriate.

Hi, I have a BT2700HGV router that has suddenly started blocking all internet access with the content screening block message.

All PCs/Laptops are affected,

regardless of being wired or wireless

regardless of being in any content group or 'no restriction'

Override is ignored.

Entering the admin password on the 'content blocked' message page (to overide the block for the chosen time period) is ignored. The message continues to be shown.

The problem seems to occur late in the evening.

Rebooting the router resets to normal behaviour.

I am running firmware 6.1.1.48.1-enh.tm

The problem started 4 days ago, 27th Aug 11

Is this a bug in the firmware or a hardware problem or something else?

Thanks for the help
