Hi folks,
I'm over here in the states trying to help my mate in England get his internet (BT) functioning again...
We've reset the router, he's added the information from his "welcome letter" into the appropriate fields via router admin page.
So, the LAN looks ok, but no PPP light and no internet....
A few quick Q's:
Is it most likely a configuration error in cash advance the router or a line problem?
(note: voice phone line works fine, I'm skyping him on that as we work the problem)

Should he be using "auto detect" on the router's ADSL config menu or manual config?
Any ideas would be awesome as BT won't arrive for 48 hours and it's almost the weekend.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi crakepiste. If I may ask, how was this issue resolved? Because I think you need to connect to the ISP and set the PPPoe settings here.
