Looks like a firmware issue to me. Updating it might help.

Is this a VPN server or client? IF a server, you're in luck. You can prolly use another good port for your VPN server to listen and use a good TCP port that can be opened from the router.

Hi there,

I have sorted out a static IP address to allow remote access to the office server and various services.

Opening the ports for FTP and web works as it should, as do numerous other ports.

But when I try and open up ports 1723 (TCP), and ports 500, 4500 and 1701 (UDP), these remain closed/blocked.

Out of all the ports I have tried, these are the only ones which will not open, and these are the very ports required for creating a VPN!

The fact that all other ports can be openned leads me to believe there is an issue with the hub software/hardware?

Please can you advise me and provide me with the support necessary to resolving this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Chris
