I'm trying to set up these two routers so one stays were it is and the other is used as an access point with 2 wireless radios (1 for private access that will give people access to the main router) and one with guest (this one gives people internet only).

Here's how it is:

INTERNET > MAIN ROUTER (BT) > ETHERNET CABLE > BELKIN

All I want to do is have two networks. 1 private one that we can share files on, and another that's internet only. The Belkin has the choice to use it as an access point.

Any ideas?

The setup that you currently have right now is only for 1 network. Your choices are to set up VLANs (not sure if the router has that feature) and next is just keep your current setting.

Since you are only concern is to share files with a specific users. You can just share a single folder to the public and set it up so it would ask for a password anytoime users wwould want to access it.

Good luck.
