Hi

I recently upgraded to BT infinity and connected my Sony Vaio, my daughters Sony Viao and my wifes Acer Aspire laptops.

When browsing both Viaos are super quick whilst the Acer is snails pace whilst browsing the same sites and actually seems slower than it was on broadband. Is there any setting I can change or new hardware needed on the Acer to bring it up to speed?

The Acer has NplifyTM802.11b/g/n whatever that is and the device manager says it has a Atheros AR5B97 Wireless network adapter.

Many thanks

Depends on the OS. The RWIN and MTU settings can be tweaked - in XP manually but in Vista and Win7 it is normally automatic. For infinity the MTU should be 1492 or lower.

Also, have you checked usiing a wired connection to see if there are the same differences and also with WEP/WPA/WPA2 all turned off?
