Phone and fax machine through same line

Hello, I was looking for some help!!!!

At work we have 1 telephone line into which we had a adsl filter, I need to put a telephone and seperate fax machine into it also so I was going to pick up a double or triple adapte. But my question is that when the phone rings and I answer it what do I do if it is a fax coming through do I dial a code in so that it will be accepted???

Please help.......very confused!

Hi,

It depends what kind of fax you have. For example the BT Dect Fax Plus can be set to Tel/Fax mode which means it will automatically determine if an incoming call is a phone call or a fax call.
