We ordered BT Ininity for our business, with promised speeds of 20Mbps. As our current BT line was running a 5Mbps we thought it was a good choice.

Then we had problems with the new BT Hub and had to buy a new router. The speeds were were getting were around 5Mbps, exactly the same as before.

Then the service went down. It took them about 5 days to repair it. Our speeds were 2Mbps but the Openreach guy said that they would improve to at least 10Mbps by today. They're still 2Mbps.

The Openreach worker said that the problem was in the aluminimum cables, which couldn't handle the speeds. I wasn't expecting to get the full 20Mbps (probably around 15Mbps or something) but 2Mbps is ridiculous. The downtime was bad enough as it is as we're an online-orientated business.

What are our options in a situation like this, and what is the best number to ring to get something sorted?
