I regularly ( 5 times in the last week) have to restart my BT hub 3 to restore my internet connection , is this likely to be hub problem ?

ADSL+

Wired

I assume the hub is losing connection , but it isn't showing same behaviour as previous routers where lights would quickly go out , start flashing , then reconnect within 2-3 of minutes after a disconnection .

This morning lost internet at 8.59 , all light blue , router status "connected"

9.08 middle orange light . router status "connecting"

9.09 all lights blue . router status "connected"

9.10 middle orange light , router status "connecting"

9.16 restarted router

9.20 working internet

Same pattern 5 times in the last week ,except 2 occasions where i couldnt access the router and had to power it off and restart

I would say that you need to call the Helpdesk and go through it with them - you may well need a new Hub.
