Try using the BT Wholesale availability checker - http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome - as I don't believe that the one on BT.com can check lines that are with other providers.

Hi,

I can see from the DSL checker that our postcode's cabinet is to be FTTC enabled in March 2013.

When I check any of our lines there is no mention of FTTC. I assume this is because we are currently on ISDN?

My question is, how would we go about getting Fibre in our offices? Our exchange is already FTTC enabled on most cabinets. I don't know about FTTP but doubt that would happen at this address anyway.

Thanks

It makes sense that your line wouldn't 'test' for FTTC since ISDN is incompatible with xDSL.

Once your exchange goes live it is a simple matter of placing an order for a phone+broadband package and then cancelling the ISDN once it goes live. You should then be able to transfer the numbers across or port them to a VoIP service.

Ok that makes sense.

We would be keeping the ISDN as it is important for the phone system.

However, we have 3 broadband lines in total which are each a seperate line. 1x with Zen internet and 2x with Plusnet. These are the lines that do not give any info on FTTC when using the DSL checker.

I would of thought these lines would go back to the cabinet and once infinity was enabled at the cab we would be able to switch?

Thanks, that is what I have been using.

If I user the telephone number checker there is no mention of FTTC. If I use the postcode checker FTTC should be available March 2013.

I guess it just means these lines are not getting it?

Try again once the exchange goes live: I know of one person who has FTTC via Sky but the line checker says it's not available, even though Sky get their FTTC from BT.
