Hi Adrian,

I have the same problem as Richard, not only with the printer (HP as well) but all other wireless devices. BT have got me to change channels on the router( BT hub 3) from 1 to 11 then 6. Each time it will clear the fault for 2-3 weeks before cutting of the wireless devices. No problems with plumbed in devices.

Colin

Hi, I've recently had infiniry wireless installed. My HP Deskjet air printer keeps diconnecting from the wireless network and I'm having difficulty re-connecting it. Any thoughts? Also, not sure how I can log into the router 'admin' to change controls, etc?

Hi Richard,

Do you have any other devices that connect to the router using wireless, if so do they keep connection when the printer loses it?

The router GUI (admin page) can be access by IP address in your browser of choice - 192.168.1.254 If it's a BT Hub 3 then you'll find the admin password on the pull-out dongle on the back of the router.

Adrian

Hi Colin,

If it's multiple devices affected then it's a good chance that it's caused by interference from another wireless network(s) or device. A good way to try and track down other networks is a program called Inssider - install it on a WiFi capable computer and take a look at the networks. You'll probably find that you have a few networks around and may have to try one of the less 'common' channels - e.g. 3.

Hope this helps,

Adrian
