Fibre Optics - Upgrading

Hello,

When I first wanted to join BT, I was told I would beable to get Fibre Optics when it went live on 31st December. I made very sure that I would get Fibre and because of the "yes" i got, I joined.

Currently it's the 2nd January and I haven't gotten anywhere with it. I enter my number on the checker and it says I can't get it.

I've looked on the openreach site and I can't find the Fibre Cabinet that I know is 1 road away. Any ideas?

Hi,

The Openreach site doesn't show individual cabinets, just the exchanges. Does your exchange show as Accepting Orders?

Yes, my exchange shows as Accepting Orders.

In all likelihood then, unless you are very close to the exchange (no cabinet), you will be able to get BT Infinity. Keep in mind it sometimes takes a little while for the availability checker to be updated.
