      <title>Shocking packet loss - is anyone else experiencing this?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;See the attached ping plotter graphic. This is from exchange 01766 to our website this afternoon, but the internet in general is becoming unusable.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No packet loss from here.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; 12-14 ms round trip time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The first concern that your graph shows me is the 700ms to the .in-addr. btopenworld.com node.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; That should be down in te 8-10ms time frame.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; That could be partially the cause.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; What setting do you have in PingPlotter for "Time to wait for Ping replies"?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First find out why yoyu are so slow accessing the outside world and then run PingPlotter again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
