There was an easy fix to ths in the end. Fortunatly the port could be seen but as disconnected on the hub under devices. So I removed ther static IP and deleted the device. I had to restart the hub but I can now see all the Static IP Addresses

Hi

I have 5 static IP's and everthing was fine untill I moved premises and had to change the IP Range. I have just started to reconfigure the mail server to start working again and took one of my static IPs for this. Through the BT HUB 3 I assigned the external ethernet port on the server to a static address so when the MX records change things should work..... Wrong

The server crashed and had some hardware repaired. Now I cannot see the assigned IP address how on earth do I get this back? The server ether net boards have changed so I now have a different Mac addresses for the port but everything else is the same!

I now have 2 missing IP addresses and I would like to know how I can have them back? Does any one have any ideas? If not I will have to issue another free one and wait a further 24 hours to update the MX records 😞

This whole moving premises thing has been a night mare 3 weeks just to get to this point, wont mention the cost!!!!!
