topic Changing a router in Archive

I am changing the router on a BT business connections from a netgear to a BT business hub 3. I have someone on site to change the cable

I can see the ADSL side IP address on the netgear and want to be able to remotely access the BT hub remotely.

I do not believe the IP address is fixed BUT if the new hub comes on line within the lease of the IP address is it likely to use it ?

In other words I think the critical questions is " is the IP lease on the circuit or the MAC address ?"

Thanks
