How can I change my IP address on BT? Can I just call them up and ask them?

Hi Imageek

You can find your current IP here

If you have a dynamic IP, which we provide by default.

You can go to www.myoffice.bt.com and sign in to manage services

(the username and password would have been sent out when you first set up the broadband)

From there you can go to the connection widget and click on connection settings, from here you can click on "change" to upgrade to a Single static IP or Multiple static IPs.

If you do not want this, and have a dynamic IP, you can turn the router off for 3 minutes which will change your IP.

If you have a static and are on a blacklist for spam (you can check here )

You will need to speak to the blacklist that you are on to request removal - if you are on a blacklist and call BT to request a change of IP we will not be able to do this.
