Cannot Port Forward SMTP Ports (25,465,587) on Bt 2701HGV-C 2-Wire Hub

Hi ,

I just set up port forwarding on Ports 88 and 8000 for a CCTV system, to access it remotely which works great.

I then tried to open smtp ports (25,465,587) to send e-mail alerts from the CCTV system but after applying the settings i checked the ports on canyouseeme.org and they still appear closed.

Any ideas ?

I have a particular port open for an openvpn server,which i can connect to and do connect to daily,this site says the port is closed though.

Any program/site I use to check the port says it is closed. When i am in the business later I am going to try and telnet on to the port
