Hi Darren,

The port 50001 is open to allow all firmware updates through to the BT routers we are not able to clsoe the ports. All routers will have a port that is open for firmware updates.

We can assure you the BT routers are PCI conplient.

For the last several months our 26 Charity Shops have been failing their Trustwave PCI Security scans. As has been discussed on a couple of other Forum strings, going back to 2012, I'm trying to find out if BT have come up with a solution, other than replacing all my routers, to this problem??

As a charity, this is costing us a lot of money, but similarly will cost us more if we have to replace all 26 routers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Darren

Darren Holmes

Head of ICT for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice
