topic BT.com stops on loading in Archive

I have an odd problem with BT homepage. I am on HH5 business infinity with a static ip address and all machines on Windows 7 and IE11 . When I try to open it halts (not responding) for almost exactly 60 seconds. If I open a second page the same thing happens and the first page also stops. Once started again I can go to any other page without delay and from there elsewhere but if I go back to BT it all halts again. This also happens with another laptop, the main computer which is connected directly to the hub but not with a tablet which is Windows 8.1 There was a recent Windows update on all the Windows 7 machines and this seems to have started since then so perhaps a setting has been messed with? Obviously I could use a different homepage but it's the one I am used to. Any ideas?
