<LI-SPOILER> </LI-SPOILER>
As an update I have got a small refund for the increased charges. BT contracts are not worth the paper they are written on. I signed up for a 24month contract and within a couple of months they increased the price while reducing it to new customers. This is dishonest and bt should be ashamed of themselves for doing this. I await a response from the mods on this ussue.

BT Pricing Policy.

We recently purchased BT infinity on a 24month contract for £22.00 a month. Within the contract period the price of the package on my bill has gone up from £22 to £25 a month without any notice. So a large percentage increase while tied into a contract that was advertised lower.

However I checked the BT website and it the identical package is now advertised at £20 a month which has prompted me to put a complaint into BT. Is it legal for BT to do this? Increasing the cost of a service by over 10% without any notice, backdating into on the bills and then offering it at a lower price on their website while charging existing customers the full increased price?
