modem errors and slow speed

hi i have had bt infinity installed now for a few months and the speeds are terrable i can live with the download but the upload is only around 56kb/s.
not sure what these errors mean on the modem but could this mean a problem with the line. on my old adsl connection i got about 200kb/s up and 800kb/s down how can my new vdsl connection be slower.

Hi there,

I'd double check your wiring. Get in in the test port and try another filter. If all looks ok you need an engineer.

Hi leejewitt,

Have you been in contact with the helpdesk?

If you have checked your internal wiring and alll is ok I would contact us to get the line tested you may need an engineer out to check the line.

hi now i have to restart the modem at least 2 times a day as the connection drops and with in minutes of rebooting i get these errors.

Cell errors: 704

CRC errors	70281
FEC errors	1355
HEC errors	23441
