I have personal BT infinity fibre broadband at home and at work I have non fibre business broadband. I've noticed that the router supplied for the business account is a Busines Hub 3.

The main point is that I noticed with the Business Hub3 you can see in the event log suspicios activity being blocked and with the personal HomeHub you cannot. If I get a buiness infinity account at home and get a Business Hub5 will this router show in the event log the suspicious activity being blocked, does it have NAT, can I block specific ports?

Basically, what extra features does the Business Hub5 have over the normal personal BT HomeHub5?

Hi there, Yes, if you go to the troubleshooting menu and choose event log. You can view activity if you select 'firewall' from the drop down in there.

By Default all ports are blocked until you open them via the port forwarding page.

The only difference between home hub and business hub is that the business hub has a 'static IP' section.

Thanks
