    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am new to this and BT's instruction not of much help&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I have website &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.abcde.co.uk/"&gt;www.abcde.co.uk&lt;/A&gt; and my email is &lt;A target="_blank" href="mailto:123@abcde.co.uk"&gt;123@abcde.co.uk&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and have ppassword xyz123456&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what do I enetr into my ftp program boxes for host, username and password?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Alastair, the hostname formats that you have provided are pretty much the same thing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Most FTP clients will accept &lt;A target="_blank" href="ftp://ftp.website.co.uk/"&gt;ftp.website.co.uk&lt;/A&gt;. You only really need the ftp:// prefix when using a web browser, which is not recommended anyway.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Although BT's support pages say to use ftp.website.co.uk as the server, just website.co.uk will usually work too. In fact www.website.co.uk should also work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The reason being that they are all mapped to the same IP address.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In fact, you can use just the ip address if you want.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
