forums on my web site?????

Hi guys and gals, i'm totaly new to this so bear with me please, i've started up my own clan site for a ps3 game, now everything is going ok with the website and the long hours involved in the construction side of things.

The thing i would like to ask you all is, does anyone know if i can install a forum onto my web site so as the people in the clan can leave messages to one another, and if so where is the best place to get one???? many thanks chris.

I have successfully installed phpBB and it works like a dream with the BT Hosting. You will need the Advanced Hosting Package (£15 a month) as it requires a MySQL database.

Other handy free alternatives are www.simplemachinesforum.com which can be hooked into a joomla built website. Both are self building and easy to use, again they need MySQL to run. You can view that combination in action at www.shaolinproductions.org

A-Hill that website uses VBulletin which isn't free!!
