    <description>&lt;P&gt;Tried all sorts over 17 months but because my name is not currently on the account they won't listen to me. &amp;nbsp;The settings can't be changed because the account is closed. The client has contacted BT multiple times they say the account is closed.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I transferred my account [REMOVED] to my client in &amp;nbsp;June 2023 . They cancelled the account in July.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the details obviously got screwed up because I am still getting threatening emails 17 months later.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have all contacted BT multiple times who say the account is closed. I can still log into the account and see bills but can’t do anything because the client’s name is on the account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PLEASE stop this nightmare 🥹&lt;/P&gt;</description>

To resolve it, contact BT support and ask for a supervisor to escalate the issue. Document all your communications. You can also send a formal written complaint and, if needed, escalate it to an ombudsman or regulatory body.
