Hi Dave

Sorry for the confusion - this is something that pops up a lot. When you access your router settings page and it says that Static IP is not active, this is the way it should show. It would only show as being active there if you had multiple Static IPs. As you only have one, it should be working fine 🙂 If you are having issues with the Static though I would recommend you get in touch with our Technical Team here.

Regards

Hi,

I have BT business broadband with 1 static IP address. When I use whatismyip.com it shows the following line

ISP: BTBUSINESSSTATIC-AGG-56

When I check the router advanced settings it shows static IP as being off.

I am confused as the whatsmyip check says business static but the settings don't. Is my static address live or do I need to do something else. To date I have done nothing other than the router was turned on and off after installation.

Thanks,
Dave
