It seems that the 4G hybrid connect does work with the smart hub in bridge mode though? (I have tested it briefly and it seems OK, but we have not deployed it on site as I prefer to wait for SmartHub2 firmware to be updated to fix bugs reported to BT. Not sure that will be speedy though.)

However I have checked and it seems that when you have the modem running in bridging mode you cannot connect via 4G.

Can someone confirm if this is correct?
Thanks.

Hi YekinKebo,

You are correct. the 4G assure dongle will not work in either a 3rd party modem/router or the BT Smarthub/Smarthub2 if it is in bridge mode. YOu would have to have the Smarthub running normally for 4G assure to work.
