Find out which BT Business Hub you've got.

Since we use the 10.x.x.x range for BT Wi-fi you'll need to disable BT Wi-fi first if you want to use this range. To modify the internal IP range of the BT Business Hub follow the correct steps for your hub below.

BT Business Hub 3

Open up your web browser and type 192.168.1.254 to access the home page of your hub.

Select the Settings tab.

Enter your admin password and click Ok to continue. By default your password will be on the card you can pull out from the top of your hub.

Select Advanced Settings and then click the Continue to Advanced Settings button.

Click on Business Network and then IP Addresses below that.

You can now configure your local IP range.

BT Business Hub 2

Open up your web browser and type 192.168.1.254 to access the home page of your hub.

Select the Settings tab.

Select the LAN tab.

Click on Private Network.

You can now configure your local IP range.

Once you save the settings you'll be prompted to enter your admin password. The default password will be your hub's serial number without the "r" at the end.

Known Issue With 10.x.x.x Range

Sometimes even if BT Wi-Fi has been disabled the address range doesn't become available. If this happens follow these steps:

Unplug the DSL cable.

Factory reset the hub.

Re-configure the LAN settings to use subnet 10.x.x.x IP range.

Plug in the DSL cable.

If you perform a factory reset of the hub but your previous static IP port forwarding or firewall settings were different from the defaults, you need to reconfigure your hub after resetting it.
