      <title>BT Business Hub 2 - Connection problems and resetting your hub</title>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're having problems connecting to your broadband or Internet, t&lt;SPAN&gt;he quickest and easiest way to solve these issues is by completing a controlled shutdown and switching back on of your equipment. This is called 'power cycling'. To do this:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Unplug the power supply (AC/DC) from the back of your hub or router.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Leave it switched off for 10 seconds.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Plug the power supply back in.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Wait a few minutes while it restarts, then try connecting to the Internet.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Factory Reset:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If unplugging&amp;nbsp;hasn't worked you might want to&amp;nbsp;do a factory reset. This&amp;nbsp;will return your hub or&amp;nbsp;router&amp;nbsp;to its default settings, discarding any changes you've made to it:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You'll need to re-enter your network ID and password.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;You'll also need to reconfigure any static IP, wireless security or firewall rules you may have set up.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If you have a BT Business Broadband Voice package you'll need to reactivate it.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To do a complete factory reset, removing all personal settings:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Use a PIN or paperclip to press and hold the recessed&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reset&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button on the back of your BT Business Hub 2 for 15 seconds until your hub lights go out.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Release the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Reset&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button and wait for the hub's Broadband light to glow green. This may take several minutes.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Alternatively, you may reset your BT Business Hub 2 using your Business Hub Manager:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Open your web browser and type&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://home" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;http://home&lt;/A&gt; or &lt;A href="http://192.168.1.254" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;http://192.168.1.254&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;in the&lt;BR /&gt;address bar and press&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Enter&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;or your return key.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click on the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;tab.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click on the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Diagnostics&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;tab.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Select&amp;nbsp;the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Resets&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;link.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;In the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset to Factory Default State&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;section, click on the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;button.&lt;BR /&gt;You may be asked to enter your password - if you haven't changed it, the default password is the same as the serial number on the side of your Hub.&lt;/LI&gt;
