Hi everyone.

I am new around here so please go easy on me. I’m really in need of some help, im not sure if i am in the right place.

At our busy franchised chicken shop we recently switch our broadband from plusnet business to bt business. We have fttc with 2 cloud phones, we are using BT’s smart hub, we do not have any special configuration anywhere. Everything is pretty much default out of the box.

everything is working fine accept for our deliveroo terminal, we use this to receive and manage orders we get from deliveroo.

the terminal connects to our bt WiFi but then within a minute or so it loses connection. It reconnects again the quickly loses it, this just goes around in a cycle. I’ve ruled out this being a general WiFi issue as no other devices experience the same behaviour. All WiFi settings on the router are default.

I’ve spoke to both bt business support and deliveroo and they just keep blaming each other without any resolution.

I’m certain this is some kind of configuration issue somewhere. Deliveroo asked me to open ports 443 and 5494 on the router which I have done. They’re also asking me to whitelist a whole of ip addresses and domains. BT’s technical team couldn’t help me with this and didn’t know how to.

does anyone know how I can get ip addresses / domains whitelisted? Is this an option at router level?

Has anyone else been thorough something similar and manage to fix it?

thanks for your help.

I think you need to look in the firewall settings and use 'customise'. Which smart hub do you have?

Have you looked at this?

https://help.deliveroo.com/en/articles/8022811-allowing-deliveroo-on-your-store-s-network-retail-partners-only
