Is there any published information on teh 4G Assure module supplied with the current Hub 3 (Dec. 2024) ?

What is the connection - USB or RJ45/Ethernet?

My network connects direct to the ONT - without the BT Hub and whilst it is ultra reliable, I do need the backup potential. The old Assure connect to the Hub 2 which then connect to my router on a fail over port. But that is a continuous waste of power being up 24/365.

Hi Marum

For the Smart Hub 3, it is a newer slightly different device called the Hybrid Connect you will get instead. It is set up via ethernet and then you can position it separately. You can find the set up guide here.

Thanks for the detailed info! The suggestion of standalone 4G routers or dual-WAN routers is super helpful.
