Step-by-step: Turn the light off on your BT Wi‑Fi Disc

Step 1 — Open the BT app

Open the My BT app
(or the BT Business App if you’re a BT Business customer).

Step 2 — Go to ‘Your Networks’

From the home screen, look for Your Networks.

Tap to open the section where all connected discs are listed.

Step 3 — Select the Wi‑Fi Disc

Pick the disc located in the bedroom (or whichever room has the bright light).

The app will show settings specific to that disc.

Step 4 — Go to ‘Disc light setting’

Inside the disc settings, find Disc light setting.

This controls the brightness of the LED.

Step 5 — Set the light to Off

Choose between High, Low, or Off.

Select Off to completely disable the blue light.

BT confirms the disc will still alert you of faults even when the light is off.
