Can I get confirmation from someone that Static IPv6 /56 prefixes are available on ADSL connections?

I have just spent an hour on live chat and ended up cancelling the Static IP as the agent said BT only offer Static IPv4 addresses.

Hi SJ20035

I have spoken to the tech team myself and been advised there should be no issues with getting IPv6 on an SOADSL line, the only time we would expect to see a static IP with only IPv4 is if you've had it for a very long time

Perhaps you can tell me how I can order this then? I don't mind paying for the Static IPv4 if it gets me a Static IPv6 /56 Prefix
I am guessing I will also need login details (username and password) since I am using my own modem / router and not the BT one.

Hi SJ20035

The easiest way to order a static is through the tech team as they can place the order there and then. They can also provide the authentication username and password you would need to set up a 3rd party router.
