On the Black round mesh system not sure. We used BT Business Hub 2 with 3 white BT Whole Home WiFi mesh discs very successfully.

Bought these on the web and set up etc.

Now, after upgrade, on the rectangular new mesh ones. These are better.

I would give the round black mesh disc a go, I expect it would work. One important point. On the white "home" ones you have to connect the first disc to the router with a cable then position the others.

The new recatngular ones do not need this and connect wirelessly to the router. Can you check the set up on the black circular ones before buying?

I want to extend my wifi (Business Smart Hub 2) and am considering picking up a cheap black wifi extender disc (where there are loads available). Will I have any issues getting it to work, assuming it is fault-free?

I contacted BT about getting an extender disc, but they would only provide one by increasing my monthly fee, and that works out at over £100 per year.

I got a second hand black extender disc and it works perfectly. I attached it to the router with an ethernet cable and it successfully paired. I now get great coverage all over the house/office.
